Sisters In Craft

Our journey into crafting began as a beloved pastime intertwined with raising our children and celebrating special events. With the demands of full-time work and parenthood, finding time to perfect our crafts was often a challenge. We were fortunate to have Aunt Tina, an extraordinary quilter, who gifted our family with beautifully stitched quilts in our favorite colors. Her creativity, shared with her daughter, Cousin Lauren, extended to countless handmade creations for every holiday. Their talents were a constant source of inspiration, even though they lived far away.

Everything changed when Aunt Tina and Cousin Lauren moved to California. We finally had the opportunity to craft together, making memories and honing our skills. However, life took an unexpected turn when we lost Cousin Lauren suddenly, and Aunt Tina was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s Disease, passing away 18 months later. As we sorted through their belongings, we held on to their cherished fabrics, beads, papers, and other crafting supplies, finding it too difficult to let go. Their passing marked the end of an era for us, and crafting seemed to fade away.

Then COVID-19 happened. During the lockdown, crafting became our way to stay sane and connected. It reignited our passion, and I decided to honor Aunt Tina and Cousin Lauren by starting a crafting business with my family and closest friends. It began with my mother and me sewing quilts in memory of Aunt Tina for future grandchildren and friends expecting babies. We expanded to making bracelets for the Chinese Zodiac and Feng Shui, and dreamcatchers taught to me by my cousin’s best friend.

Meanwhile, across town, my best friend was creating resin jewelry, etching glasses, customizing jerseys, and making HTV sweatshirts and wood-burned items with her Cricut. Our friendship, which started during our daughters’ preschool days, deepened over the years, evolving into a family-like bond. When we crafted all the decorations for my daughter’s wedding, we discovered a shared passion that strengthened our friendship and unlocked new creative ventures.

Today, through All Our Creations,

we celebrate and share the diverse talents of our Sisters in Craft. Our collaborative efforts span woodworking, Cricut projects, sublimation, and more, allowing us to express our creativity and strengthen our bonds in a meaningful and joyous way. Join us in celebrating the art of crafting and the joy of creating together.
